St. Croix, VI- November 8th, 2023 – Lutheran Social Services of the Virgin Islands, a pillar of community support, marked the commencement of its annual charity golf tournament in support of The Queen Louise Home for Children on Friday, November 3rd, with a cocktail party at Carambola golf club. This festive occasion featured captivating live and silent auctions, Sponsor With A Heart donation opportunities, and priceless moments of fellowship. The event, a welcomed tradition, was hailed by one dedicated participant as a heartwarming reunion, reuniting friends and golf enthusiasts from past tournaments.

The tournament teed off on Saturday at the Carambola golf course, setting the stage for a memorable weekend of golfing camaraderie. Golf carts buzzed with excitement, filling the air with friendly competition and the spirit of the game. The following tournament day was held at the Buccaneer golf course, where the competition intensified, and enthusiasm reached its zenith.

The tournament culminated with an awards dinner at the Buccaneer’s Brass Parrot. Over dinner, participants eagerly awaited the announcement of the tournament winners. We proudly extend our congratulations to the following victorious teams: Cane Bay Partners VI, LLLP Team secured 1st Place for the Low Net category, followed by Benray Jr. Maintenance Team, Inc. in 2nd Place and Frederiksted Hotel/Louie and Nacho’s Team in 3rd Place. Charles Electrical Services Team, LLC clinched 1st Place in the Low Gross category, with CDLM Team securing the 2nd Place position.
